My philosophy of teaching dance is about empowering the dancer within. I like to run a small dance school to keep abreast of my vision which is getting the best out of each dancer.
I take great pride in building one on one relationships with my dancers and getting to see where their specialty lies. I give regular feedback to parents and adult dancers and pick up on moments when extension or extra tuition would benefit.
Most of my classes are owner operated however this year I have employed Crystal Toner as an additional teacher who specialises in Hip Hop dance, jazz, tap and ballet. Crystal is a kind caring mother of one of our dancers who shares the love of dance that I do and is delighted to come on board my dance school and deliver a similar yet more hip version of what Miss Dale offers.
I teach;
- Ballet from the age of 2-62+
Tap classes from the age of 4-45+
Jazz classes from the age 4-40+ - Contemporary classes from the age of 5-15 years
- Musical theatre classes from the age 5-15
All of the classes are syllabus based, using NZAMD (New Zealand Association of Modern Dance). Exams are not compulsory – however these are encouraged for those who want to progress in their dancing qualifications and confidence.
